Professional Portfolio

Hello there! Welcome to this collection of my urban and transportation planning work. My name is Nick, and I currently work as a Transportation Planner with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). This portfolio includes examples of my professional work, as well as projects I completed while earning my Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning at Portland State University.

I like to spend time my free time outdoors, primarily through biking, backpacking, and enjoying nature’s beauty in any way possible.

Before joining WSDOT, I spent three years working full-time at Portland State and volunteering with BikeLoud PDX, all while completing my Master’s degree. I’m particularly proud of my work with BikeLoud PDX as I helped to advocate for active transportation infrastructure that users of all ages and abilities feel comfortable using. My work to advance bicycling has cultivated within me an awareness to issues affecting urban and rural areas such as climate change, public health, and equitable development.
